Kayla Donaldson is a student studying Animation and Visual Effects, specializing in hard surface modeling. The grand, fantastical elements of theatrical performance and animated films have drawn out her interest in working behind the scenes, the hidden work what makes production so impressive. Kayla attends Drexel University, which caters to both of her passions. Kayla’s love for piecing things together and staging translates to her interest in 3D modeling and animating. Kayla enjoys technical theater, and her high school theater became her second home. She is well versed in carpentry, and worked on 7 different shows. She took on the head of carpentry role during her junior year, developing her leadership skills. Her greatest achievement is being both stage manager and head of carpentry for her school’s knockout production of Matilda.
